Create four-patch blocks in 16 different sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to 4 inch finished sizes. Place the markings on the ruler directly on the seam line and trim. Since the blocks are trimmed after cutting, sewing, and pressing, any distortion caused by these steps is corrected and each four-patch will be the perfect size every time!
